The title kind of says it all. I had to take the photos in a hurry before gifting this one on a cloudy day, so they are pretty poor.
The airplane blocks are made using this excellent tutorial.
I used some of my stash of Out to Sea on the back. In hindsight I wish I had centered the map print, but it still looks nice, and matches the recipient's nautical-themed nursery.

I love this quilt Alexis. I really like what you did with the quilting too.
love the simplicity of the design. so perfect for a boy too!
It's absolutely darling!
Fiddle, dee, dee!!! I LOVE this quilt and the more I look at it the more things I find to appreciate... the quilting perfectly accentuates the airplanes and the scrappy binding adds another little touch. So glad I got to see it in person!!!
I am so impressed that you were able to make this since the baby was born! It's adorable.
Lovely. I made an airplane pillow for my son using he same pattern. Love the map you used on the back.
I think the not-centered backing makes it more interesting. Cute quilt!
Wow! This is so adorable! Love all the little planes. The back of the quilt is awesome too.
You have really happy baby :-), who lets you sew! Very impressive.
